Each of my works comes from an idea that I elaborate and personally follow in every moment of their realization, from the drawing of the sketch to the last finishing.
In the overhang of metals (silver, copper and iron) I follow the traditional technique with hammer and gravers, some of which are made by myself.
I often combine natural materials – such as stone or wood – with metal, but also contemporary ones – such as plexiglass – to underline the unstoppable passing of time, and the consequent advent of new materials to give shape to creative energy.
In the painting my passion for drawing and graphics emerges and through these techniques I try to overcome the pure visuality of natural and real elements to highlight other purely symbolic ones, trying to find some correspondence between the objective world and my feelings.
